Privacy Policy

Audura is a private place to store unreleased music and share it with people you trust. This page explains what we collect, where it lives, and what you can do about it.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your email address and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text), and your username.
- Profile details you choose to add: display name, bio, and profile picture.
- Your content: the audio files you upload, their metadata (title, artist, format, duration and similar), cover art, and playlists you create.
- Sharing activity: the share links you create, and basic activity on them such as plays, views, downloads, and feedback comments left by listeners.
- Notifications: in-app notifications, and if you allow them on iOS, a device token so we can send push notifications.
2. How your files are stored
Your account, files, and data are stored with Supabase. Uploaded audio is kept in a private storage bucket. We never expose a permanent public link to it. Audio is only played through short-lived signed links, and only for you or the people you share with. The one exception is a track you deliberately mark as public, which anyone with its page can play.
Our website is hosted on Vercel.
3. Who sees your music
Only you, unless you share it. When you create a share link you control who can open it: with a PIN, an expiry date, an email or username list, or by approving access requests yourself. We do not use your music to train AI models, and we do not listen to it.
4. We do not sell your data
We do not sell your personal information or your music, and we do not share it with advertisers. We only use the service providers listed below to run Audura.
5. Service providers
- Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Resend: transactional emails, such as share invitations and account emails. Your email address is passed to Resend to deliver them.
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, if you use it, and push notifications on iOS.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies to keep you signed in, and your browser's local storage for preferences such as volume. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. This removes your account and the content tied to it. You can also delete individual tracks, playlists, and share links whenever you like.
If you cannot sign in, or you would like us to delete your data for you, email contact@audura.app from the address on your account and we will take care of it.
8. Security
Access to your data is restricted to your account, and you can turn on two-factor authentication in Settings. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you store with us.
9. Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions? Email contact@audura.app.
